PATENTED TURBINE TECHNOLOGY Unlike most ICU ventilator systems that depend on an air compressor or a piped air system, TBird VSO2-VS is self-contained. Its powerful turbine technology provides excellent gas delivery without a need for a compressed air source. This revolutionary new turbine together with an internal and optional external battery allow the system to be completely independent and mobile. ICU CAPABILITIES BEYOND THE ICU When patients move from the ICU to an alternate care facility, referring physicians demand sophisticated modalities. The TBird VS and VS02 incorporate the powerful features of ICU ventilators. High flow capabilities can meet the needs of critically ill patients with high inspiratory demands. Tidal volume ranges, from 50 to 2,000 ml's, accommodate a wide range of patients from 10 kg to the largest adult. Pressure support ventilation and flow support can minimize patient dys-synchrony.
