DreamStation BiPAP Auto SV, designed to administer optimal ventilation with minimal intervention through a clinically proven algorithm, providing support when needed. By adapting to patient breathing patterns giving minimal applied pressure while providing pressure support. The Auto SV features Digital Auto-Trak Sensitivity to apply a change to the unit's default pressure support, only when necessary, to ensure the patient a stable breathing pattern throughout the patient's average night's rest. In addition to this breath-by-breath adjustment through pressure support, the BiPAP Auto SV algorithm, calculates the patient's spontaneous breathing rate and automatically triggers a breath incase the patient goes through a central apnea event. This helps normalize respiration and returns the pressure to the minimum required therapy pressure.
