CoughAssist T70 is a mechanical insufflation to exsufflation device designed to precisely clear secretions from the lungs by emulating a natural cough. Like a good deep breath, CoughAssist applies positive air pressure (insufflation) to sustain a large volume of air within the patient's lungs. The device then reverses the flow of air by shifting to negative air pressure (exsufflation). The result, a high expiratory flow from the combined air pressures, taking the build up in your lungs and producing a cough to help curb bronchial secretions.
